PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY:
GENERAL RELEASE – I/We hereby release Pacific Coast Swimming and its successors or assigns from any and all actions, claims or causes of actions arising out of instructions provided to us or our child(ren) or arising out of any swim meets or other functions attended or sponsored by Pacific Coast Swimming.
MEDIA PERMISSIONS – Group photographs may be posted without identifying swimmers. I/We give permission to post individual photographs of our children or ourselves on the club web site, bulletin boards, newsletters and related publications, and to include names & achievements in team stories.
TRAVEL & BEHAVIOUR GUIDELINES – I/We confirm reading the PCS travel & behavior guidelines on the Pacific Coast Swimming website. I/we agree that we will explain and discuss these guidelines with our child(ren) and agree to abide by these guidelines.
CLUB COMMITMENT POLICY – I/We confirm reading the PCS Club Commitment policy included in the registration package, and agree to contribute to team activities as outlined.
PRIVACY – PCS is required to submit information such as swimmer names, birth dates and contact information to Swimming Natation Canada (SNC) and Swim BC, the National and Provincial governing bodies, for registration & insurance. We are also required to submit swimmer names and associated competition and achievement level to Saanich Commonwealth Place to complete pool allocation schedules. In addition, please be aware that competitive swimming takes place in a public forum. Competition results, including swimmers’ names, will be posted at swim meet locations, on our web site, and at the SNC Meets site
LATE PAYMENTS – I/We agree to have our credit card charged the balance due for any payments that are over 90 days late. Accounts overdue from the previous season must be settled before registration for the 2021-2022 season can be initiated.
MONTHLY TRAINING FEES – Training fees are paid per month by post-dated cheques, e-transfer, or credit card. The most senior swimmer in your family pays 100% of the applicable monthly training fees; additional swimmers receive a 20% discount of applicable monthly training fees.
When your swimmer moves through groups, monthly fees will change. You will not be required to submit additional cheques but the additional amount will be added to your monthly bill.
Swim meet entries, team travel, accommodation and equipment costs, and the like, are additional to group fees, and will be billed to your account as they occur.
We require one month’s notice should you decide to withdraw from swimming. Please notify us by June 1st if you do not intend to swim through July.
Credit card payment can be made on the online registration system under “My Account”. Monthly training fee invoices are generated on the first of the month. A statement of account will be emailed on the fifth of the month to review and credit cards on file will be charged on the eighth. Only VISA or Mastercard is accepted at this time.

- Swim BC is the governing body for the competitive year-round swimming in British Columbia. Fees cover insurance and administration costs associated with the organization and development of competitive swimming. Reduced Fees are available after April 1.
