MONTHLY TRAINING FEES

Training fees are billed in equal monthly installments and may be paid by credit card or e-transfer.

Monthly invoices are generated on the 1st of each month, emailed on the 5th, and credit cards on file are processed on the 8th. Only Visa and Mastercard are accepted.

Families paying by e-transfer must submit payment by the invoice due date. E-transfers should be sent to Mark Lancaster at lancasteraquatics@shaw.ca.

For families with more than one swimmer, the swimmer registered in the highest-level program pays 100% of the applicable monthly training fee. Each additional swimmer receives a 20% discount on their applicable monthly training fee.

Monthly training fees represent the annual cost of participation, divided into equal monthly payments for convenience. Monthly fees are not based on the exact number of scheduled practices in any given month. Variations due to statutory holidays, scheduled facility closures, or the calendar are reflected across the season and are not adjusted on a month-by-month basis.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Additional charges, including but not limited to swim meet entry fees, team travel, apparel, equipment, and other club-related expenses, will be added to your account as they occur.

To reduce administrative costs, Pacific Coast Swimming issues one invoice per family each month. Additional charges incurred during a month will appear on the following month's invoice.

Annual registration fees are also payable for:

  • Pacific Coast Swimming Parents Association Membership (per family)
  • Swim BC / Swim Canada Membership (per swimmer)

LATE PAYMENTS

Accounts with outstanding balances for more than 60 days will receive written notice.

Accounts with balances outstanding for more than 90 days may:

  • be charged to the credit card on file;
  • incur a late payment fee of $15 per month;
  • and have participation or future registration suspended until the account is brought into good standing.

Outstanding balances from a previous season must be paid in full before registration for a subsequent season is confirmed.

WITHDRAWAL PROCEDURE

Written notice of withdrawal must be received at least five (5) business days before the first day of the next month to stop future monthly training fees. If notice is received after this deadline, the next month's training fee will still apply.

Competitive program registrations require payment of the final month's training fee in advance. This payment will be applied to the swimmer's final month of active membership once proper withdrawal notice has been provided.

REFUNDS

Members who withdraw within two weeks of their initial registration are eligible for a full refund of any membership fees paid. After this period, monthly training fees are non-refundable.

No refunds or credits will be issued for:

  • missed practices due to illness, vacation, or personal scheduling conflicts;
  • statutory holidays;
  • variations in the number of scheduled practices from month to month;
  • or other planned breaks included in the club calendar.

If Pacific Coast Swimming cancels practices due to unforeseen circumstances, such as facility closures, pool contamination, instructor illness, or other unavoidable events, the club may issue an account credit at its discretion.

Account credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may only be applied to future fees or charges owing to Pacific Coast Swimming.
