Laura Isherwood
Originally from Staffordshire in the UK, Laura completed her BSc and MSc in Sports Physiology at the University of Chester. She then moved to New Zealand and worked as an Anti-Doping Program Manager for Drug Free Sport NZ. Laura moved to Canada in 2020 and became the National Team Coordinator for Rowing Canadaβs Olympic and Paralympic teams. She joined the Canadian Sport Institute Pacific Physiology team in 2023 and is now based in the Victoria High Performance Lab. She currently works with National and Provincial team Athletes, predominantly in the Sport of Rowing. Outside of work, Laura enjoys playing Soccer, Gaelic Football and Tennis.
