The ISC Medley Challenge is a Long Course competition featuring a mix of timed finals and prelim/final events. The meet includes a unique Medley Eliminator event in each age group for an extra challenge.
Event Format
Timed Finals:
- 50m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly
- 400m Freestyle
- 400m Individual Medley
Prelims & Finals:
- 50m, 100m, 200m Freestyle
- 100m & 200m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly
- 200m Individual Medley
- A/B finals offered depending on event and number of entries
Qualifying Information:
- 2024–2025 VIR Championship standards apply
- 1 qualifying time = up to 7 individual events
Medley Eliminator
A highlight of the meet:
- Top 8 swimmers per age/gender (by invitation)
- 4 x 50m rounds, each stroke swum once (random order)
- Bottom 2 swimmers eliminated each round
- Final 2 swimmers race head-to-head for the win
Schedule Highlights
Friday (PM): Timed finals + 12&U Eliminator
Saturday: Prelims (AM) / Finals (PM) + 13–14 Eliminator
Sunday: Prelims (AM) / Finals (PM) + 15&O Eliminator
