Provincial Highlights Day 1

Pacific Coast Swimming started off Day 1 of the 2026 Winter Provincials strong with 6 Club Records and 1 new provincial record.

Congratulations to our new Club Record holders: 

• Maelle Sanborn open 200m breaststroke: 2:25.06
• Alex Camaraire 15-17 50m freestyle: 22.83
• Derek Francois 11-12 400m IM: 5:10.33
• Nolan Greenwood 15-17 800m freestyle: 8:13.46
• 12&under boys relay (Derek Francois, Yamin Boamah, Lukas Schroeder, Lukas Bartlett): 1:52.62
• 15-17 boys relay (Rubin Lee, Evan Eide, Alex Camaraire, Eason Zhou): 1:33.13

Congratulations to our boys 15-17 relay team for also setting a new Provincial Record in the 4x50m freestyle relay. 

PCS is holding on strong to 2nd place in the combined points score after Day 1.
