PCS Swimmers Named to Canada Games Team
Pacific Coast Swimming is proud to announce the selection of four of our athletes and two coaches to represent British Columbia at the 2025 Canada Summer Games, taking place August 10–15 in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
Congratulations to Maelle Sanborn, Sophie Wood, Alex Camaraire, and Roy Pan on this significant achievement. Their selection is the result of years of dedication, discipline, and consistent performance, and we are delighted to see their hard work recognized on the national stage.
We also extend our congratulations to Coach Rod Barratt, who has been named to the Team BC coaching staff, and Coach Alexx Greenfield, who coached Roy Pan during his Canada Games qualification. Their leadership and commitment to excellence have played an instrumental role in the success of these athletes.
The Canada Summer Games are a key event on Canada’s high-performance pathway, offering young athletes the opportunity to compete at a national multi-sport event and further develop their skills and experience.
We wish Maelle, Sophie, Alex, Roy, and our coaching staff all the best in their final preparations. They will represent both Team BC and UVPCS with pride, and we look forward to cheering them on this August.
