Meet Recap & Results: 2026 Nanaimo Fall Invitational
Pacific Coast Swimming headed up island to attend the 2026 Nanaimo Fall Invitational on October 24 to 25, delivering some fantastic performances in the early stages of the season!
The club set goals such as swimming fast without race suits, having fun at the meet, being ready behind the blocks, and finishing races fast. The swimmers met these objectives with many reaching the top 5 in their respective age group against swimmers from the Vancouver Island Region.
The focus at this point in the season is on giving our best effort in every race, maintaining strong technique, and continuing to develop positive habits in the water.
Athletes had an outstanding weekend, earning numerous podium finishes, achieving personal best times, and even setting a new club record!
Congratulations to Jasnoor and Arya from the Senior 2 group for achieving a new Divisional time! Lukas Bartlett had a standout meet, breaking the 100M Medley Club Record for the Male 11-12 Category at 1:06.33.
There were also plenty of exciting personal bests throughout the weekend with swimmers continuing to make progress in their events and demonstrate the hard work they have been putting in at practice.
The meet was an opportunity to get back into the rhythm of meets and be on the way to an exciting season.
