Lightning Fast City Champs 2026

Before the Lightning Fast program wraps up for the season, swimmers had the opportunity to take part in the City Champs Meet which brought fun, excitement, and friendly-competition.

Pacific Coast Swimming hosted the meet at Saanich Commonwealth Place on the morning of May 31st.

Swimmers from levels 3-5 competed in a variety of events throughout the day, including the 25M backstroke, breaststroke, kick, freestyle, butterfly, 50M freestyle, and 25M freestyle relays. 

City Champs was an opportunity to experience what a real swim meet feels like for the kids - helping them build confidence, practice their racing skills, and enjoy the competitive side of swimming in a supportive environment.

The meet was a great way to celebrate the swimmers’ progress and hard work over the season while ending the Lightning Fast program on a memorable note.
